Go!
Type:
Benefits:
Description: Form your group into a circle. The exercise begins with one member of the group pointing at another. The person who is pointed at then tells the pointer , “Go.” The pointer then stops pointing and walks toward the person pointed at. Now the person who has just said “Go” needs to get out of their spot in the circle so the person walking toward them can have it. To do this, the person who has just said “Go” needs to point at some one else standing in the circle. The new person being pointed at tells the person pointing at them, “Go” and the game continues. Tips: Coaching: Say the instructions in the beginning, " Point - Say GO - "
Sometimes I have not played and just coached until the group gets going.
- Remind them: You CANNOT move til the person you are pointing to tells you to GO!
No-no’s : pointing and saying go at the same time, not looking at the person you point at, going before you are told.
