If -Then
Type:
Benefits:
Description: The group is split into two teams. The leader of the group acts as the go between. One team creates an unlikely “If” statement . For example : ”If the sky was always dark..” The opposing team must create a likely “Then” statement. For example : ”Then no one would have a tan.” Next the second team must come up with a unlikely "If" statement. While they do the first team must put there fingers in their ears and hum. When the "If" statement is given to the go-between. The go-between signals the first team to remove their fingers and listen to the unlikely "If" statement and come up with a likely "Then" based on that "If". Then it is the second team's turn to put their fingers in their ears and hum. The play goes back and forth each round the time is reduced for the If and Then statements to be created. Play continues until one team is unable to think of an “If” or “Then” statement that makes sense in time.
