Surprised Neighbor

Ice breaker/Eye Contact

This exercise is best executed with a group of 14 or less, so divide the

group accordingly. Circle the group and have them put their arms around

each other's shoulders. Have the group face the floor. Pick one leader in

the group who will count to 3. Upon doing so, all will look up facing

either to the left, or right, or straight across. If any eye contact is

made, the parties involved should scream. If a scream is heard, the

exercise is repeated until no one screams.

APPLICATION: This exercise makes the group aware of eye contact by forcing

them to chose a direction in which to look.
